COURTESY AND RESPECTFULNESS

Students should be honest, helpful and kind in their dealings with one another and avoid vulgar language. They should also be refined and courteous, using often the following expressions: PARDON, EXCUSE ME, PLEASE, THANK YOU, I AM SORRY.

Respect to elders (specially to teachers) is an important Indian trait which will be instilled and fostered during their training in the school. When the teacher enters the classroom, the students are expected to stand up and greet him/her and the same should be done when leaving the classroom.

A student should accept his/her companions in school as brothers or sisters, settling differences in a constructive way, refraining from quarrelling or vulgar language. In case of physical fights, parents will be summoned to the school.

Competitions, sports, games etc. are a channel to develop in them the spirit of sportsmanship; through these, they will learn to graciously accept defeat and congratulate the winning side avoiding ill feelings.
